Tips for first classes

Beginning a school semester can be quite nerve racking entering into a new environment, wondering how your first day of classes will be well I am here to ease your worry. I am going to give you some tips from what I have learned from having been through an entire year as a post secondary graduate. First tip I will give you is: Relax you need to take a deep breath and relax, if you go into your first year all stressed out you are only going to get yourself overwhelmed. I have seen many people drop out the first couple months because they could not handle it. Think of it as high school but just in a bigger classroom, to be honest it actually feels like I’m still in my high school sometimes but every day is non uniform day!! My next tip is do not Procrastination I will say it again do not Procrastinate; maybe you got away with it that one time in high school where you figured out your essay was due the next day the night before but if you do that in college/university well you will solely regret it! Once an assignment is said that it is due on a specific day I suggest that you hand it in on that day before the time you will be given plenty of time to do it so you mind as well get things done early and have time to chill out a bit without having to worry about how you are possibly going to finish your huge assignment you got for a class. My third tip is Make sure you pick your group members carefully it only takes one person to screw over an entire group. Get to know people in your classes and find the ones you can trust. Find someone who is serious about their work. Finally my last piece of advice to you is to have fun. Enjoy yourselves make new friends you are going to be spending a lot of time at your new school for the next couple years of life you might as well start making new friends and building connections for the future. Have an amazing school year everyone!
